Low Newton Family Support Worker, Durham
This exciting new post at the region’s women’s prison has been made possible by funding from the LankellyChase Foundation, the Pilgrim Trust and NOMS north east. It will link closely with NEPACS visitor centre, the prison and a range of other support agencies to promote family ties during a prison sentence and on resettlement.

Youth Project Outreach Co-ordinator, Durham
NEPACS currently provides weekend facilities at our Durham-based visitors’ centres for young people aged 8 – 18. This ground-breaking new post, funded by a grant from the Northern Rock Foundation, will co-ordinate support for young people visiting a relative in prison through activities in the youth rooms, befriending, mentoring, and developing community links.
