Prison Based Family Support Manager

Nepacs is a regional charity which supports positive futures for prisoners and their families. We have been successful in securing Big Lottery and HMPPS funding to further develop and extend our established family support service within HMP Durham, HMP Frankland, HMP&YOI Low Newton, HMP Northumberland and out into the community, to connect with local authorities and the Durham Tees Valley and Northumbria Community Rehabilitation Companies.

We are seeking an experienced professional to play a key role in managing and developing our family support service in the north east, with an ability to take a strategic lead on promoting the service and facilitating partnership working. In addition to managing staff and relationships, the postholder will embed a new ‘Heading Home’ initiative to support families at the point of release and resettlement. Applicants will also be required to demonstrate both strategic and operational management experience.
